VSSS Uniform Requirements

Our School Uniform colours are jacaranda, purple and black.  THE CORRECT UNIFORM iS EXPECTED BY THE END OF TERM 1.

BLOCH at Warringah Mall are our main suppliers and they are situated upstairs near the Big W end –
SHOP 313, TELEPHONE 9905 0088. Please check with your teachers first to see if anything has changed. 


BELOW ARE MOST OF OUR CLOTHING AND SHOE REQUIREMENTS.

JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE/CONTEMPORARY

  • Dark Purple Leotard with gathered front and no sleeves
  • Dark Purple Tomboy suit for junior students
  • Dark Purple Combo shorts / or bike pants
  • Dark Purple and Jacaranda X back top
  • Dark Purple Socks for junior students
  • Black Leggings
  • Black or Tan Tights for students exam work
  • Headband or scrunchie – hair must be away from the face
  • Tan Jazz split sole shoes for younger students. Black Jazz split sole shoes for senior (check with your teacher first).

TAP

  • As above with either Tan Tap Shoes for younger students and Black Tap Shoes for senior students (check with your teacher)
  • Dark Purple Lambada Skirt

HIP HOP

  • Dark Purple and Jacaranda X back top
  • Black Equator bockers with purple cuffs
  • Tan Jazz Shoes for younger students, Black for older (please check with teacher)
  • Boys Hip Hop. A VSSS Black T.Shirt must be worn in all Hip Hop classes. Please see the office to purchase the T.Shirt.
  • Boys must take off their street /school shoes before entering their Hip Hop classes.

BALLET

Baby Ballet, Pre-primary, Primary, Grade 1 and Grade 2

  • Jacaranda Leotard with gathered front and no sleeves
  • Jacaranda Chiffon Skirt
  • Pink Ballet Socks, Jacaranda Headband or Scrunchie

Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5

  • Dark Purple Leotard
  • Dark Purple Chiffon Skirt
  • Pink Ballet Tights

Intermediate and Advanced Grades

  • Black Leotard and Chiffon Skirt

ALL GRADES NEED FULL SOLE PINK LEATHER SHOES WITH ELASTIC. SOME GRADES NEED CHARACTER SHOES (Please check which size heel) & SKIRT.

Hair Requirements: A ballet bun is required for all Ballet classes. A ponytail or bun for all other classes. (click here for instructions on making the correct bun).
