Rachael came to Valerie Smith Stage School age 4 back in the days of the Scout Hall. Rachael went to Kambora Public School and Davidson High School were she excelled in performing arts and got into the top 10% of the state for HSC dance. Rachael has performed in eisteddfod groups for over 10 years in ballet, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary and lyrical styles, as well as many solos.

Rachael began assistant teaching in 2001 and has taught her own classes since 2004. She has completed her CDA Teachers certificate at Elementary level and all levels of CDA Jazz exams. Rachael also attended the 2005 USA tour with VSSS and particularly enjoyed the workshop and mock audition at Disneyland, California.

Rachael holds a degree in Media and Communications majoring in Theatre and Performance from the University of New South Wales and is currently working at DANCEtrain Magazine.
