Lucinda Dunn

The daughter of Valerie Smith, Lucinda attended Mimosa Public and Davidson High Schools and began her dance training in Sydney. She won a scholarship at the Prix de Lausanne to study at The Royal Ballet School of London and performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Lucinda joined the Australian Ballet in 1991 and was promoted to Senior Artist in 1995 and then Principal Artist in 2002.

Lucinda has been nominated for several awards during her dancing career and received the prestigious Green Room Award for Best Female Dancer in 2005.

In 2006, Lucinda was invited to the prestigious World Ballet Festival in Tokyo to share the stage with today's finest dancers from around the world.

When in Sydney with the Australian Ballet we are privileged to have Lucinda as our Guest Teacher at the Valerie Smith Stage School.
