Being a local girl, Cassandra attended St Martins Primary in Davidson and then spent her high school years at Mercy College in Chatswood. She started dancing at the age of 12. Cassandra has performed in group eisteddfod competitions in Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre styles as well as solo performances in song and dance, and has performed at charity evenings, social events and weddings.

Cassandra began teaching both adults and children at the Valerie Smith Stage School in 2001, teaching a range of styes for both eisteddfods and exams. Cassandra was awarded honours with distinction in her FATD teachers exam and is currently undertaking her CDA teachers exam.

In 2005 Cassandra attended a dance tour in the USA where she performed in Disneyland with VSSS and then in New York she attended classes with the choreographers of "So you think you can Dance."

Cassandra has also attained a honours degree in Politics and International Relations and currently works for the Institute of Medical Education and Training.
